Fermenting & Gut Health Workshop at Mt Gravatt Plaza

Another event for Mt Gravatt Plaza! I had so much fun once again, especially with creating the handmade plant chandeliers and my rustic backdrop. Jade and the Mt Gravatt Plaza team were after a rustic but stylish theme to bring to life their first Workshop event to life. I brought it together from concept through to set-up, with:

  • Concept & Styling Advice
  • Product Sourcing
(Tables from Hampton Event Hire, Chairs from AVideas, Gazebo & Copper Barrels from Brandition, Plants from The Borrowed Nursery)
  • Handmade Details & Styling Accessories
    • Handmade the backdrop from an original concept
    • Handmade the plant chandeleirs
    • Hanging globe lights
  • Plus set-up

Here’s a little more on the event itself…

“During this information-packed workshop Dr Sarah Lantz (the Director ofBuchi Kombucha) shared the importance of maintaining gut health, the benefits of fermented food and talked us through some yummy gut-healing recipes. Thank you to Adam from Peace Love & Vegetables for making a guest appearance and taking us through the process of making sauerkraut and Brad and Chris from goodMIX and Pure n Free for providing some seriously delicious food samples.”

“Last night was the second time Emily has assisted with the styling for one of our events. Even though she only had a couple of weeks to prepare she was able to bring my vision to life x 1000! She’s got a fantastic eye for style/design and is a clear perfectionist. When she first told me her plans for our event I wasn’t really sure how it would all come together, but she told me to trust her. I’m so glad I did! I honestly believe the event was as successful as it was because of her gorgeous styling. Thanks again Em – you’re a gem and I can’t wait to work with you again.” Jade Yates, Marketing Manager at Mt Gravatt Plaza.
